Sure, the monster wins in the end of Cloverfield...but far too many vacant and obnoxious twentysomethings have lived for far too long by that point to make it satisfying. And that's assuming that the ostensibly "avant-garde" shaky-cam hasn't already caused you to lose your lunch.Oh, and spoiler alert.
